Why Do I Offer Free Attunements?

Over the last year or so, my library of free attunements has steadily grown. I've had questions on this, as free attunements, by virtue of being free, bring no actual income to the shop. So I thought I'd share a bit about why I offer them, as there are a number of reasons.

The first is perhaps the simplest: most attunements have a set minimum fee that they must be sold for. All of my attunements are marked at this fee, as I'm not going to mark something up unnecessarily. With the free attunements, many of them must be free, and others simply say "charge what you want", and I'd prefer that these energies be shared as much as possible so I charge nothing for them.

The second is closely related: these are energies that can be a major help to everyone, so they are made as accessible as possible. I openly encourage everyone to download them all, even if you only think you'll like a few of them. Why not, if they're free? Besides, you may find things there you didn't know you wanted or needed.

Third, from a purely business standpoint, someone who might otherwise pass the shop by may see the free section, and then find their way here to the information articles and learn a few things that could help them out. And of course, it increases web traffic, which is important for an online business.

Finally, many people are hesitant about attunements, and I don't blame them. I was too when I discovered them. But my teacher sent me some free energies to test out, I loved them, and that's how I ended up on the path I'm on now. So for those who aren't sure if attunements are for them, the free section is the perfect place to experiment and see if they are something you like.
