Theft and Karma

Over the course of my years as a professional, I have been stolen from a handful of times. In fact, I believe the Grand total is two now, with one attempt. In two cases, attunements were purchased and then a PayPal claim was submitted. The first time, I simply submitted the refund and bewared the person. The second time, I sent PayPal proof that I delivered services. They deliberated but eventually decided in my favor. This person was also bewared. Most recently, someone placed an order, but their payment was pending for several days. Out of kindness and sympathy, I gave them the empowerment they had 'purchased', along with several free energies. A few days later, the payment was canceled. I sent several emails but they ultimately chose to not to respond. So I sent them an email detailing what happens in the karmic realm, but as this situation has arisen many times as a hypothetical amongst colleagues and students, I decided it was pertinent to share a bit of how karmic justice works in situations like this.

With many Attunements, or at least, the Attunements from my teacher and myself, there are very specific karmic places set in place, written into the copyright warnings. Usually, these involve the energies either working the exact opposite of their intended use, or the energy being turned against you. However, there is also a more detailed process that comes about: first, you submit to the universe a karmic desire to pay for these energies in some other way, even though it would be easier to just pay the money. Energy exchange must be honored, so you will sacrifice that amount of energy in one way or the other. Second, your karma suffers. You guarantee for your future self (in this life or the next) that you will learn what it means to be stolen from. Third, if I find out about what you've done, which I generally always do, you can be personally assured that I do not curse you. Instead, I explain the situation to the Great Karmic Council, a group of Ascended Masters dedicated to bringing about justice and teaching us the lessons we don't want to learn, and ask them to help you understand your karma. As long as I am justified in coming before then (which, if you steal from me, I am), they generally always step in.

Why do I tell you this? It isn't to scare you (unless you intend to steal from me, in which case, I'd suggest reconsidering). Rather, it is to demonstrate the severity with which theft is treated, especially since it is so easy to take advantage of energy workers like myself. Those of us who give freely of ourselves so much are also often taken for suckers, and I simply hope to tear away that illusion. My teacher taught that we should never let someone take advantage of us, but if they do, we should not simply accept it either. We forgive them, and then we let karma do what it does. Besides, the goddess provides for what was taken in one way or the other.
